Welcome to the CCC exam!
The exam has three components:
- The CAPED Practitioner Exam
- The Certified CAPED Consultant Exam
- The CCC Agreement
The Practitioner Exam
This is the same one participants take at the end of the CAPED Practitioner (CP) Workshop that you’ll be teaching. Practitioners need a score of 70% (21/30 correct) to receive the CP Certificate. Certified CAPED Consultants (CCCs) are teaching that course, so CCCs are required to achieve a score of 93% (28/30) or higher to move on to the next component. Since you have already done that during a previous CP course, you’ll automatically advance to taking the CCC Exam.
The CCC Exam
This exam tests your ability to train the core concepts, facilitate discussions, and be an effective change agent, helping CAPED succeed at your company. A passing score of 90% (37/41) is required to move on to the agreement.
The CCC Agreement
The CCC agreement lays out the terms and conditions related to teaching CAPED practitioner courses at your organization. It’s a legal document, so please read it carefully, review it with anyone (human or AI) you’d like before signing, etc. We’re mostly trying to protect CAPED with that document, but it does give specifics that may be helpful to you in understanding what’s ok and what’s not. We also covered the basics during the training, so this shouldn’t be new info.
