From the perspective of an Agile Coach and Trainer

As a Coach and Trainer, I leveraged this material to compare what I typically present to teams / students regarding User Story fundamentals to other experts out there. What sets this material apart, in my opinion, is the “Give me an example” section. Just excellent! One of the better explanations of vertical slices I’ve ever come across! Four stars only because some video would have been nice.

Coursework

I am a Scrum Master and not a PO, so I read through this course a bit differently. I think the reading is great and I picked up a ton of good applicable knowledge to share with my teams. I would say try adding some videos where we can. Most people, such as myself are visual . I am a reader and a thinker but at times it would've been nice to see some videos as well. Overall good info though.

Using this with one team and now multiple teams want it

I worked with my team to complete this backlog makeover, and it has helped. We have been a waterfall company, putting waterfall size user stories into our teams and this has allowed us to create bite-size work for our team and communicate what parts of the work are coming to the business when. Thank you, hopefully the company purchases this training for other teams.

Hello , I purchased Retrospective and 80/20 PO course. Now retro course has a lot to read and I was looking for a video course , so can you please issue a refund for retrospective course ?

I am happy to keep PO course.

I did not wanted to get refund as my aim is to learn from you, not to get refund 🙂
Now, do you have any video courses and if i purchase 2 or 3 courses will there be any discount ?

You’ll still have access to that content, so you can continue to learn. Many of our courses are video-centric. If you are interested in Product Ownership, check out the 80/20 Product Owner course, which has lots of video built in. Our Scrum & Agile Crash Course is also video-first in its design.
Shoot us an email: peter@humanizingwork.com and we can talk about which courses might work best for you and we can put together a bundle for you. Thanks Varun!

Approachable and helpful review of the fundamentals. I will return to this regularly.

I liked the challenges to be better at what you're already doing. Are you following standard templates, but not getting much discussion about your stories? Are they unwieldy or hard to finish in a sprint, etc.? This course hones the knives you already have, providing immediately actionable and tactical content as well as bringing home the "why" behind the fundamentals without hiding behind jargon.
